UPDATE | Niagara Regional Police seek Fort Erie man in connection with break-ins

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) is searching for Greg Nathaniel Tarantini, a 44-year-old Fort Erie resident, in connection with a series of break-ins at local commercial properties. The incidents occurred between June 27 and August 6, resulting in significant damage and theft.
Tarantini is accused of breaking into three commercial locations and returning to two of them. Items reported stolen include power tools valued at approximately $1,500, copper wiring worth around $4,000, candy estimated at $300, and $1,100 in cash from vending machines.
The total damage from the five incidents is estimated at nearly $10,000.
Following an investigation by 5 District uniform officers and detectives, Tarantini has been identified as the suspect and is now wanted on five counts of break and enter to commit theft under the Criminal Code. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Tarantini is described as a white male, standing 6’2″ tall with a slender build, light complexion, brown short hair, blue eyes, and a brown or red goatee.
He has several distinctive tattoos, including a demon face on his right upper arm, a dragon in the sun on his left upper arm, an alien on his right shoulder, a Grim Reaper on his abdomen, two clowns on his right calf, and a maple leaf on his head.
His current clothing description is not known.
Authorities believe that Tarantini is aware that he is wanted and may be taking steps to avoid arrest. He is suspected to be in the Niagara Region.
The NRPS is urging anyone who may know his location or spot him to avoid confrontation and contact police immediately. Any individuals found to be harbouring Tarantini could face criminal charges.
As part of the investigation, detectives executed a Criminal Code search warrant at a residence in Fort Erie. A large quantity of stolen property, believed to be linked to additional break-ins in the area, was recovered. The investigation is ongoing, and further charges are expected.
