Police seek suspect after indecent act in Crystal Beach

Niagara Regional Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man suspected of exposing himself to a child in Crystal Beach earlier this week.

According to a police news release, officers were called to the area of Oxford Avenue and Erie Road on Wednesday after reports that a man exposed himself to a 10-year-old girl as she was walking home from school.

Community members also told investigators they saw the same man earlier in the week entering people’s yards.

The suspect is described as Black or Hispanic, about 30 years old, five-foot-seven to five-foot-nine with a slim build and black facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black Croc-style shoes.

Police say the man was observed leaving Erie Road, heading north on Oxford Avenue, then west on Victoria Road before being last seen near Crystal Ridge Community Church on Elmwood Avenue.
