Contest Rules

By entering any contest, game, promotion, draw, or giveaway operated by Fort Erie Radio Inc. (43 Queen St., Second Fl, Fort Erie, ON L2A 1V6), whether on air, in person, through its app, newsletter, website (forterieradio.ca), social media channels (@forterieradio), or otherwise, participants agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Winners must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Contest rules are subject to change without notice.
3. Tickets to events that end up cancelled or postponed will not be replaced.
4. No purchase is necessary. A skill-testing question may be required by law.
5. Whenever possible, prizes will be mailed by Canada Post unless otherwise stated.
6. Prizes awarded to businesses that subsequently cease to operate will not be replaced.
7. Prizes have no cash value and cannot be substituted, traded, exchanged, nor returned.
8. Fort Erie Radio takes no responsibility or liability for damages, losses, or injuries resulting from acceptance or usage of a prize.
9. Fort Erie Radio is not responsible for replacing prizes that are lost, stolen, misplaced, not delivered by Canada Post, or damaged on arrival.
10. Winners of all contests, no matter how subjective the criteria to enter and win may be, are determined by Fort Erie Radio in its sole and absolute discretion.
11. Employees and contractors of Fort Erie Radio, as well as members of their immediate households, are not eligible to win a contest, unless it is operated by a third party.
12. Fort Erie Radio reserves the right to publish, reproduce, advertise, and broadcast the name of any contest winner, as well as their photograph, location, and details of any prize(s) won, in perpetuity and without compensation.
13. Contest participants may be contacted by phone, and Fort Erie Radio may broadcast all or part of any resulting conversation, or record it to broadcast at a future date, or publish the audio from said conversation to its various online channels.
14. Fort Erie Radio makes no representations or warranties with respect to the odds of winning a contest, nor does it take responsibility for occurrences beyond its control that may prevent an individual from entering or winning said contest.
15. A full legal first and last name must be provided to Fort Erie Radio as well as a valid Ontario mailing address in order to claim a prize. Identification may be requested to verify these details. Failure to provide these details within 72 hours of winning a prize will result in forfeiture of said prize.
16. Contest submissions made by any means, including those made by calling or texting (289) 931-8400, may be broadcasted, shared, or advertised by Fort Erie Radio in any manner it deems appropriate, including for purposes related to promotion and marketing, in perpetuity and without compensation to the individual making the submission.
