Police responded at approximately 2:25 a.m. on May 17 to the area of Niagara Boulevard and John Street where officers found a recently-fired bullet casing. He remains in custody and was scheduled for a bail hearing Monday at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse at 59 Church Street in St. Catharines.
