Town of Fort Erie hiring new road maintenance supervisor, more roles

The Town of Fort Erie is recruiting for four municipal jobs in its information technology, water and wastewater, fire prevention and roads divisions, with the first application deadlines closing July 21.
Three of the postings are permanent roles. The fourth, a fire prevention supervisor, is a temporary position running from July 2026 to July 2027.
The business systems analyst will translate the town’s business needs into technical solutions, working with departments across town hall to design and deliver software projects and modernization initiatives.
The position reports to the chief information officer and pays between $94,895 and $113,875 a year.
The deadline to apply is noon on July 21.
The supervisor of roads and forestry services will direct the maintenance of roads, sidewalks and roadside drainage, including winter plowing, salting and sanding routes handled by town crews and contractors. The role also oversees the inspection, pruning and removal of municipal trees.
The position reports to the manager of roads, parks and fleet and pays between $101,217 and $121,461 a year.

The manager of water and wastewater services will oversee planning, operations and staffing for the town’s water, wastewater and stormwater division. The successful candidate will serve as the provincially designated overall responsible operator for the town’s water and wastewater subsystems.
The position reports to the director of infrastructure services and pays between $124,985 and $149,982 a year. The posting lists no application deadline.
The temporary supervisor of fire prevention and public safety will supervise the town’s fire prevention officers and inspectors, oversee fire inspections of all building types and lead public education programs under the Ontario Fire Code.
The position reports to the fire chief and pays between $105,828 and $126,994 a year. The posting lists no application deadline.
