What do you do?
We make, package, and sell freeze-dried candy online, at markets, and in our store. We also have a full coffee shop and wholesale Homestead Donuts, as well as handmade gift items.

What makes your business special?
We started out making handmade resin jewellery, crochet items, and other little gifts, and selling them at markets throughout Niagara Region. We purchased a freeze dryer to preserve food for our pantry, quickly discovering the effect our new toy had on candy.

We opened our first little shop on Jarvis Street in March 2023, but grew quickly and needed more space. We found the space and a way to diversify our business. We now have candy, coffee, and gifts.

We offer 250 different freeze-dried items, a full menu of hot and cold drinks, and Homestead Donuts. We are the only brick and mortar freeze-dried candy store in Niagara, and one of very few places to get a great old school Homestead Donut.

How’d you get started?
Our business has evolved from being solely to raise funds in honour of our son, Tanner, to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities South Central Ontario. We’ve been able to sponsor two dinners, totalling $1,000. Our current goal is to sponsor a family for a week.

What’s your greatest achievement?
One of our reviews said, “Best coffee in town.” That was a great thing to hear. And opening our new location was a really big deal for us, too.
