Robson reappointed to Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority Board

Today, the Minister of Transport, Pablo Rodriguez, announced the appointments of 17 individuals to various positions within the transportation sector.
Among the notable appointments is Patrick Robson from Wainfleet, who has been reappointed to the Board of Directors of the Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority for a four-year term.
The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority is a binational, shared governance organization that owns and operates the Peace Bridge, which connects Fort Erie to and Buffalo, New York. The Authority is mandated to provide a safe, efficient, environmentally sensitive, and cost-effective conduit of trade and travellers between Canada and the United States.
Minister Rodriguez emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring that these selection processes remain open and transparent, highlighting the valuable experience the appointees bring to their respective roles.
“These highly qualified individuals play an essential role in these key organizations in the transportation sector,” Rodriguez said.
The Minister of Transport oversees one of the largest portfolios in the Government of Canada, which includes 56 organizations comprising nine Crown corporations, four administrative tribunals and agencies, 21 airport authorities, and 17 Canada port authorities.
