Ridgeway-Crystal Beach Kin Club hosting vendor market on November 2

About 45 vendors will be selling goods and services at Winter Fest, an upcoming vendor market hosted by the Ridgeway-Crystal Beach Kin Club.
The event, to be held November 2 at the Leisureplex banquet hall will benefit Community Outreach Program Erie (COPE), as well as other local causes, said Martina Post, club president.
This is the second annual event but has doubled in size compared to the 2023 edition, held at the club’s headquarters on Hyman Avenue in Ridgeway.
People who attend the event are asked to bring non-perishable food items for COPE.
There will be a raffle, a door prize, and 50/50 draw.
Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase as part of fundraising efforts.
Asked about COPE being chosen as a benefactor, Post said the club is aware that the upcoming Christmas holidays are sometimes “the hardest part” of the year for many people, and that the food bank’s shelves often need to be replenished.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
About a year ago, the Ridgeway-Crystal Beach Kin Club formed as an amalgamation of the Kinsmen and Kinettes, merging into one branch that includes men and women.
