Kinsmen and Kinettes Easter egg hunt returns to Stevensville this Good Friday

The annual Easter egg hunt organized by the Stevensville Kinsmen and Kinettes is back for another year, keeping a 47-year tradition alive.

This free event will take place on Good Friday, March 29, 2024, at Ott Road Park (2700 Ott Rd.) and promises fun for the whole family.

The Easter egg hunt kicks off at 11:00 a.m. with Fire Station 5 using their sirens to signal the start.

Children of all ages are welcome to participate with separate areas designated for age groups 0-3 (parents can assist), 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12.

Nearly 4,500 eggs will be hidden throughout the park, and children who find three coloured eggs specific to their age group will win a delicious chocolate bunny donated by Nigh’s Sweet Shop.

Hundreds of fruit packs, generously donated by a local resident, will also be hidden amongst the eggs for a healthy surprise.

After the hunt, there will be draws for 20-25 door prizes. Attendees can also enjoy free pizza and the Easter Bunny will be on hand for meet-and-greets and photo opportunities.

Registration is not required for this fun-filled Easter tradition in Stevensville.
