Massage therapist charged with sexual assault in Fort Erie

A registered massage therapist in Fort Erie has been charged with sexual assault following an investigation by Niagara Regional Police.

Police say the charge stems from an alleged incident that took place during a scheduled massage therapy appointment at a local clinic and wellness centre.

On Thursday, detectives arrested the 58-year-old Fort Erie resident.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a video bail hearing on Friday at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.

Police believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
