Commuters should expect to see some construction this week on highways in Niagara.
On the Queen Elizabeth Way, recurring construction will be taking place between Gilmore Road in Fort Erie and Baker Road in Niagara Falls, in both directions, according to Ontario 511, the province’s traffic information website.
There will also be a Toronto-bound lane closure between Seventh Street and Martindale Road in St. Catharines.
On Highway 406, work is scheduled in both directions between East Main Street in Welland and Third Avenue in St. Catharines.
Work is also occurring nearby at the Welland Tunnel on East Main Street.
