St. Catharines resident charged following Ridgeway collision

A 50-year-old St. Catharines resident has been charged with careless driving after a collision in Ridgeway Friday morning.

Credit: Andréa Jones | Fort Erie RadioNiagara Regional Police (NRP) responded to the intersection of Nigh Road and Ridge Road North, determining that a grey Chevrolet Impala, driven by the accused, was travelling northbound through the intersection and collided with a white Volkswagen Golf travelling westbound.
The driver of the Volkswagen Golf was treated for minor injuries, said NRP media relations officer Luke Lindley.
