Town and Job Gym partnering for employment and resource fair

Looking for a new career or perhaps a side job to make a little extra income?
An event next week could be the answer.
Job Gym, in partnership with the Town of Fort Erie, is excited to announce the Fort Erie Community Employment and Resource Fair, sponsored by Little Red Coffee.
It will take place on February 13 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Leisureplex and will feature 35 employers actively hiring across a variety of industries.
“This event is a fantastic opportunity for job seekers to connect directly with employers and explore diverse career paths,” says a news release about the event.
“With a wide range of positions available and valuable community resources on site, there is something for everyone,” the release continues.
The fair welcomes individuals, from entry-level to experienced professionals.
In addition to employment opportunities, community support organizations will be available to provide resources on education, upskilling, apprenticeships and trades, entrepreneurship, newcomer and Indigenous services, as well as employment standards.
This event is free to attend and no registration is required.
Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes, as some employers may conduct on-the-spot interviews, according to the news release.

In the event of severe weather, the fair will be postponed to February 18.
