Second suspect arrested in Fort Erie vape shop break-in

Niagara Regional Police say a second suspect has been arrested in connection with a break-in at a Fort Erie vape shop earlier this week.
Detectives with the 5 District Criminal Investigation Bureau say both suspects in the case have now been taken into custody following the Tuesday incident at Peters Vape Shop on Gilmore Road.
Police say both accused meet the definition of young offenders and cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The investigation began after officers responded to a report of a break and enter. Police say two suspects entered the store around 3 a.m., stole cash and vape products, and fled.
Investigators continue to ask residents and businesses in the area to review any security footage recorded between 2:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on April 28.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers of Niagara.
