Roadwork taking place on Niagara highways

Niagara commuters will once again be impacted by roadwork this week.
Starting Tuesday, there will be recurring construction and two left lanes closed on the QEW between Lake and Ontario streets, according to Ontario 511, the province’s website for traffic information.
There will also be work Toronto bound on the Garden City Skyway.
The off and on ramps at Mountain Road will be closed all day Tuesday until 3 p.m., says Ontario 511.
Ongoing work between Nigh and Holloway Bay roads near the Fort Erie-Port Colborne border will continue this week, as well work at the Thorold Tunnel along Highway 58.
