Roadwork taking place at three spots on Niagara highways this week

There are only a few spots along highways in Niagara where there will be lane closures due to roadwork this week.
On the Queen Elizabeth Way, near the Lincoln and Hamilton border, there will be work taking place Fort Erie bound between Fruitland Road and Victoria Avenue, according to Ontario 511, Ontario’s traffic information website.
On Highway 406, continuing construction will take place between Westchester and Fourth avenues in St. Catharines, causing left-lane closures in both directions.
Lane closures will also occur at the Thorold Tunnel on Highway 58 in both directions.
