The Fort Erie Record Show returns to Sessions on the River on February 7 with vendors from across Ontario, on-site record cleaning in support of the local food bank and live music at noon from Jon Reid.
The show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a $3 entry fee and free parking.

Organizer Craig Waters said the winter edition will follow the same format as past shows but with a new local act and more promotion through Fort Erie Radio, including a $50 voucher giveaway for shoppers to pick up at the door.
Reid, a longtime member of Niagara Falls punk band No Big Deal, will play an acoustic set at noon, slowing down the heavier sound he is known for. Waters told Fort Erie Radio he expects about 20 to 30 people may attend specifically for Reid, alongside collectors checking new inventory and digging through bargain bins with $5 and $3 deals.
“I see lots of deals…and the good thing is everybody’s open to negotiation,” said Waters.
The Fort Erie show runs three times a year, the last being in September, and Waters noted that schedule puts pressure on vendors to bring strong stock and build trust with repeat customers.
“Sales are great, but there’s so many times throughout a show when you see someone super excited that they found a record that they’ve been looking for,” said Waters.
The show will again offer on-site record cleaning during the sale, with the money from that service and the $3 entry fee going to Community Outreach Program Erie (COPE).
Waters wants to build stronger local partnerships and find ways to make record collecting feel less intimidating for younger people who may not have grown up with turntables at home.
“If everything that kids collect seems too hard to get into, then it’s like, at some point it’s gonna die,” said Waters.
He wants the show to stay affordable so teenagers can start collecting without needing a big budget or a parent’s setup at home.
