Police seek public’s help identifying female shoplifter

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted in connection with two shoplifting incidents in Fort Erie.

According to police, the suspect was captured on camera stealing from a store in town on two separate occasions–first on May 6 and again on June 19. The incidents have been logged under case numbers 25-46484 and 25-65311.

Images of the individual have been shared as part of the NRPS’s “Caught on Camera” initiative, which aims to assist in identifying persons involved in alleged offences.

Police are urging anyone who may have information on the suspect’s identity or current location to contact police at (905) 688-4111 and ask for dispatch. Anonymous tips can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477, by texting 274637 (CRIMES), or through the Crime Stoppers web portal.

Police wish to remind the public not to approach or attempt to apprehend the individual.

All persons identified are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
