UPDATE | December 22, 2025 @ 7:57 a.m.: Niagara Regional Police say that Emrah Guney has been located safely.
ORIGINAL STORY | December 20, 2025 @ 2:40 p.m.: Niagara Regional Police Service is searching for Emrah Guney, 38, who is believed to have last been in the area of Lakeshore Road and Dominion Road in Fort Erie on Friday, December 19.
Police say officers and friends are concerned for his welfare.
Residents and businesses near Lakeshore and Dominion roads are being asked by Niagara Regional Police to review surveillance footage for missing 38-year-old Emrah Guney. Credit: Niagara Regional Police ServiceGuney is described as a white male with a slim build, black hair and a beard.
According to a Saturday news release, Guney is known to drive a 2009 red Honda CR-V.
Residents and businesses near Lakeshore and Dominion roads are asked to review video surveillance that may assist investigators.
Anyone with information on Guney’s whereabouts is asked to contact police at (905) 688-4111.
