Parkway closed October 27 for Niagara Falls Marathon

Niagara Parkway will be closed at the Miller’s Creek bridge on Sunday, October 27 for the Niagara Falls Marathon.

The closure will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 5 pm. as thousands of participants will be running along the parkway.

Access to local residences between Miller’s Creek in Fort Erie and Upper Rapids Boulevard in Niagara Falls will be managed by Niagara Parks and race marshals.

The road will reopen gradually as the race progresses past each intersection.

Additional road closures in Niagara Falls will be in effect.

The public is advised to plan alternate routes.
