Old Fort Erie prepares for total solar eclipse with NASA and CSA scientists

As excitement builds for the total solar eclipse gracing North America on April 8, 2024, Niagara Parks has a lineup of engaging events planned at Old Fort Erie. Positioned directly in the path of totality, the Old Fort promises a unique perspective on this celestial phenomenon.

Special talks and Q&A sessions will be held from Friday, April 5th, to Monday, April 8th, featuring subject matter experts from NASA and the Canadian Space Agency. Attendees can expect insightful discussions on the eclipse itself, space exploration, and related astronomical wonders.

Limited space is available for these sessions, requiring online registration in advance at niagaraparks.com.

Beyond expert talks, Old Fort Erie will remain open and accessible to the public throughout the eclipse weekend.
