Old Fort Erie neighbours warned of explosions during upcoming filming

A drone filming for a reenactment of the Siege of Fort Erie will take place on September 28, according to a notice from Niagara Parks distributed to homes nearby Old Fort Erie.
According to the notice, filming will occur at Old Fort Erie on Lakeshore Road and will feature several historical reenactors who will camp on the site, participating in a battle scenario complete with pyrotechnics.
As part of the filming, a simulated fort explosion will be triggered six times between 2 and 9 p.m., with 45-minute intervals between each explosion.
Old Fort Erie will be closed to the public for the duration of the event, and all parking and related activities will be confined to the site, in an effort to minimize disruption to the surrounding community.
