Lottery ticket purchased in Ridgeway wins Oakville man $100,000

An Oakville man, Joseph Azimi, has recently become a lottery winner, bagging $100,000 through the Encore numbers in the February 14th Lotto 6/49 draw.
Credit: Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG)Azimi, a real estate broker and father of two, said that he has been participating in the lottery for as long as he can remember. His stroke of luck came during a business trip when he purchased the winning ticket.
Azimi chose to keep his win under wraps until he had the cheque in his possession. Now, with his winnings in hand, he intends to celebrate with his family and is considering a well-deserved vacation.
The winning ticket was bought at the Avondale (3860 Dominion Rd.) in Ridgeway.
