Just one QEW lane closure to affect Fort Erie commuters this week

Fort Erie drivers can expect a relatively smooth commute this week with no new construction projects scheduled on nearby major highways, according to Ontario 511.
Its available listings at the time of publication show no new lane reductions or ramp closures this week on Highways 405, 406, 58, 3, 140 or the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW).
The only work expected to impact Fort Erie‑bound traffic is a long‑term construction project on the QEW between Ridgemount and Concession roads. One alternating lane remains closed through that stretch around the clock while crews work to rehabilitate the highway.
Ontario 511 says that lane restriction will remain in place until 5 p.m. on December 5.
