Free solar eclipse glasses now available, donations encouraged

The Town of Fort Erie is offering free solar eclipse glasses to residents beginning today. The glasses are available at town hall and all three public library branches while supplies last.

Important points:

  • Glasses are free but limited to one per household member.
  • Donations of non-perishable food items, toiletries, diapers, and baby supplies are encouraged but not required.
  • Glasses are not for resale.
  • The total eclipse will occur on Monday, April 8, 2024.
