Fort Erie-filmed ‘Cows Come Home’ streams on Apple TV in four countries

Viewers no longer need a Bell Fibe TV subscription to watch ‘Cows Come Home,’ the award-winning comedy filmed on a Ridgeway dairy farm.

The six-episode series launched Tuesday on Apple TV in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Ireland, co-creators Lindsey Middleton and Katie Uhlmann said in an email update. It is also available on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S.

The show premiered in June 2025 on Bell Fibe TV1, which made it available on demand only to Fibe TV subscribers.

Middleton and Uhlmann recently promoted the series at the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wis.

‘Cows Come Home’ follows Tabby Acres, played by Middleton, a woman who rebuilds her life through competitive cow showing with her best friend. Much of the series was shot at Walnutknoll Dairy Farm in Ridgeway, where Middleton raised dairy calves as a youth.

The series won best web series at the Canadian Screen Awards this spring. Uhlmann, who directed all six episodes, won for best direction.

Fiasco Global Media, a development studio based in Winnipeg and Los Angeles, optioned the show in June to develop it as a half-hour scripted comedy. In June, they told Fort Erie Radio the new version’s filming location had not been decided.

‘Cows Come Home’ will screen at the Hamilton Film Festival on Saturday, October 17, at 3:30 p.m.
