Alternating QEW lane closures expected to conclude Friday

Those travelling to and from Fort Erie this week are encouraged to leave a few minutes earlier or consider alternate routes as alternating lane closures on the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) are expected to continue until Friday.
- The Fort Erie bound QEW between Victoria Avenue in Lincoln and Bowen Road in Fort Erie has one alternating lane closed until April 26 at 5 a.m.
- The Toronto bound QEW between Bowen Road and Victoria Avenue also has one alternating lane closed until April 26 at 5 a.m.
The moving closures allow for maintenance work to be completed.
The stretch of highway between the two exits is approximately 64 kilometers.
