If opening day, which is scheduled for May 28, 2024, is anything like years past, visitors to the track can expect an exciting evening of racing, a great selection of food trucks to choose from, and a band ready to rock the crowd after the final horse has crossed the finish line.

This year, Revive the Rose will be taking the stage on opening night, a local rock band famous for their hockey pump-up song ‘Bar Down’.

July will bring a familiar lineup of returning favourites. The Figure Four, dubbed “Niagara’s favourite party band”, will take the stage on July 2. Cottage Brew, a classic rock group that focuses on Canadian covers, will perform on July 25. Westwind, known for country rock, is scheduled for July 30.

August 6, the race track is hosting Strictly Hip, a Tragically Hip cover band led by frontman Jeremy Hoyle. Later that month on the 13th, Stuck in the 90’s will be throwing it back. The racing season will draw to a close on August 20 with Dust ‘n Bones, a Guns ‘n Roses cover band.

First races typically post around 4:30 p.m. with concerts following about three hours later. Parking at the race track is always free.
