Smile Cookie campaign to support Hospice Niagara’s Fort Erie site

Tim Hortons’ popular Smile Cookie campaign is returning this spring, and all proceeds from the town’s four participating locations will support Hospice Niagara’s Fort Erie site.
The annual campaign runs from April 28 to May 4, during which time guests can purchase a freshly baked Smile Cookie for a good cause.
Each cookie costs $1.50, and 100 per cent of the proceeds go directly to local charities selected by restaurant owners.

Funds raised in Fort Erie will help Hospice Niagara provide end-of-life care at their new site next to Gilmore Lodge, as well as support services for families and caregivers.
The Smile Cookie campaign first launched in 1996 to raise money for the Hamilton Children’s Hospital, according to the Tim Hortons website.
Since then, it has grown into a national movement. In 2024, the campaign raised $19.8 million in just one week, supporting over 600 community groups, hospitals, food banks and schools across Canada and parts of the U.S.
Smile Cookies are available in-store, through the Tim Hortons app, and some third-party delivery services.
Bulk orders require at least 24 hours’ notice.
Customers are encouraged to share their photos and show their support on social media using #SmileCookie.
