Meteors looking for a sweep tonight in Caledonia

The Fort Erie Meteors could be busting out the brooms Wednesday night as they look to sweep the Caledonia Corvairs.
This comes after a 5-2 win at the Leisureplex on Tuesday, putting the local Jr. B squad up by a commanding 3-0 lead in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League’s second round of the eastern conference playoffs.
A win on Wednesday would advance them to the conference finals.
If Caledonia stays alive Wednesday, game five will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Leisureplex.
The Meteors scored twice in the first period on Tuesday and went up 3-0 in the first 40 seconds of the second, and had a 5-2 lead going into the final period, which saw neither team get on the scoresheet.
Danny Adamo had two goals, while Chris Reid, Jack Ryan, and Tate Donald also scored.
