Meteors begin playoffs Saturday on home ice against Cambridge

The stage is set for the first round of playoffs for the Fort Erie Meteors.
A best-of-seven series begins Saturday at the Leisureplex against the Cambridge Redhawks with a 7 p.m. puck drop.
Game two is on the road March 18 and the third game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 in Fort Erie.
The fourth game of the eastern conference quarter finals will be in Cambridge on March 25.
Game five, if necessary, will be at the Leisureplex on March 27, along with game seven on April 1.
The sixth game is scheduled to be in Cambridge on March 29.
Cambridge beat Fort Erie three of the four times they met this regular season, most recently on the weekend in the final game of the regular season when the Redhawks pulled off a 2-1 overtime win.
In a best-of-seven series, the first team to win four games moves on to the next round.
