Fort Erie offering free public skating on Family Day

The Town of Fort Erie is offering free public skating on Family Day, February 17, at two local arenas.
The events, posted to the town’s Facebook page and sponsored by community organizations and businesses, will take place at the Jaycee Rink at the Leisureplex and the Crystal Ridge Arena.
Skating at the Jaycee Rink, located at 3 Municipal Centre Drive, will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and is sponsored by the Kinsmen Club of Fort Erie.
The session at Crystal Ridge Arena, located at 89 Ridge Road South, will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and is sponsored by the Phil and Sarah Real Estate Team.
The town notes that the usual tots and adults skate will not take place on Family Day to accommodate the sponsored public skating sessions.
