There will be some roadwork slowing down traffic on highways to start the week in Niagara, according to Ontario 511.
This includes recurring maintenance at Ontario Street in Toronto-bound lanes of the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) in St. Catharines.
There is also ongoing work continuing Fort Erie-bound at Welland and Glendale avenues. This will cause one right lane to be closed.
A recurring engineering investigation continues between Gilmore Road and Central Avenue in Fort Erie, causing alternating lane closures in both directions.
Work is also taking place on Highway 406, north and south bound between Fourth and Westchester avenues in St. Catharines.
Decew Road in Thorold will see work along the QEW both directions.
And there will be alternating lane closures both ways through the Thorold Tunnel along Highway 58.
