The Arts, Beats & Eats festival will be taking over Bridgeburg on August 10, featuring artists, music, vendors, and food, and offering a unique experience to residents of Fort Erie.
A highlight of the festival will be the Street Art Competition, in which artists will showcase their skills from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Jarvis Street. A winner will be chosen and awarded at the end of the event.
“I’m really excited to bring this annual street painting competition to historic Bridgeburg, and showcasing the talents of all of the street artists from both locally and afar,” said Will Graham of Neon Crab Tattoos, located at 42 Jarvis Street.
“This very public, and very colourful event will bring something new and exciting to Fort Erie that we have never seen here before.”
Artists will begin their murals at 9 a.m. with live music starting at 10 a.m. The street will be licensed, allowing attendees to enjoy beverages while watching the art unfold.
“Bridgeburg is undergoing an abundance of positive changes and we are really excited to bring a festival to the area that will showcase so many different talents,” said Korinne Antaya of The Fox Shop, located at 43 Jarvis Street.
The festival will also feature a variety of food trucks and live music from local bands, emerging musicians, and a DJ throughout the day.
According to organizers, Arts, Beats & Eats will celebrate the intersection of art, music, and food, embodying the creative “spirit of Bridgeburg.”
