How’d you get started?
Black Fox Security Group was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when uncertainty became part of everyday life and the illusion of safety was stripped away almost overnight. As systems faltered, supply chains broke down, and public confidence wavered, one truth became impossible to ignore: preparedness is not optional–it’s essential.

What began as a response to that moment quickly evolved into a mission.

We saw firsthand how quickly normalcy can disappear, how vulnerable individuals and businesses become when plans fail, and how damaging a lack of awareness and readiness can be. The pandemic didn’t just expose gaps in public safety and security, it highlighted the urgent need for practical, adaptable, and realistic solutions.

Black Fox Security Group was built on resilience. We combined professional security experience with a civilian-first mindset to create training, consulting, and security services that actually translate to real life. No fear-based messaging. What’s your greatest achievement?
Our biggest achievement has been successfully scaling Black Fox Security Group from a small, home-based operation into a fully established security company with a physical presence.

What started in our basement during the pandemic grew steadily, allowing us to acquire the inventory of the former Spy Shops in Niagara-on-the-Lake in 2021, a major vote of confidence in our vision and capabilities.

That growth culminated in December 2023 with the opening of our physical location in Fort Erie. For us, this wasn’t just about expansion. It was proof that a resilience-driven, preparedness-focused approach to security resonates with real people and real businesses.

Building something tangible during and after one of the most disruptive periods in recent history remains our proudest milestone.
