Where to donate gently used clothing in Greater Fort Erie this spring

There are many organizations in Greater Fort Erie accepting used clothing donations to support good causes. Instead of throwing out your used clothes when spring cleaning, save the landfills and provide aid to those in need by bringing them to the right location.

Below is a list of all the organizations, their locations, drop-off times, clothing requests, and how your donation will be used to help others.

St. Vincent de Paul Clothing Store

  • 36 Jarvis Street, Fort Erie.
  • Drop off Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Please bring any articles of clothes that are in good, clean condition.
  • Clothes will be given directly to those in need or will be resold to the general public with proceeds given to those in need.

Garrison Road Church

  • 1351 Garrison Road, Fort Erie.
  • Drop off Monday 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Please bring washed children’s clothing.
  • Clothes will given away for free at the church.

Crystal Ridge Community Church

  • 241 Elmwood Avenue, Crystal Beach.
  • Drop off Monday 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Please bring any washed articles of clothing.
  • Clothes will be given away for free at the church.

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church

  • Location and drop off times must be arranged by contacting teachingattrinity@gmail.com.
  • Please bring washed children’s clothing.
  • Clothes will be given to families in need as part of the “Mom to Mom Box” program.

Niagara Region Textile Donation Program

  • 1300 Bridge Street, Fort Erie.
  • Drop off Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Please bring gently used articles of clothing in garbage bags or cardboard boxes.
  • Items will be resold or recycled.

Diabetes Canada (Bins)

  • 1300 Bridge Street and 4 Hagy Avenue, Fort Erie.
  • Drop off anytime.
  • Please bring any articles of clothing.
  • Items are resold and proceeds go towards diabetes research and to support those with diabetes.

Recycling Rewards (Bins)

  • 130 Garrison Road and 89 Queen Street, Fort Erie.
  • Drop off anytime.
  • Please bring any articles of clothing.
  • Items are resold with proceeds going to Cornerstone to Recovery addiction treatment. Queen Street location also benefits ARID Recovery Homes.
