RORE Festival an event to thank community for its support, says local Realtor

A local real estate brokerage is celebrating the end of the summer with a free event for families on Saturday.

In its fifth year, the RORE Festival, hosted by RORE Real Estate, will take place at Bertie Centennial Park (Ferndale Park) at 4 p.m.

There will be a viewing of the movie ‘Uncharted’ and plenty of activities for kids, such as pony rides, inflatables, a circus performance, live music, a mechanical bull, and much more.

The event started in its first year as a way to give back to clients and their families, but has since grown to an opportunity to offer something for all local residents and families, said Brent King, broker of record and owner of RORE Real Estate in Fort Erie, located at 1188 Garrison Road.

“That’s what the point is, thanking the community and being there for us and giving us support,” said King, who opened his real estate office in 2019.

He said “every year is a surprise” when it comes to attendance and weather, but it’s anticipated a few hundred, or even close to 1,000 people could show up this year.

The Fort Erie Fire Department will also be on scene showing kids how their equipment works, but also finding potential new members through its recruitment program.
