Roadwork will affect Highways 3, 58 and 406 this week

Drivers should expect delays on some Niagara highways this week.
Here are a few that could affect Fort Erie commuters:
- Roadwork on Highway 3 between Nigh and Holloway Bay roads will cause lane closures all week, according to Ontario 511, the province’s website for traffic information.
- There will continue to be closures on both sides of the QEW between Gilmore Road in Fort Erie and Baker Road in Niagara Falls.
- There will also be recurring maintenance at the Thorold Tunnel along Highway 58.
- Highway 406 will have alternating lane closures headed in both directions at East Main Street and Highway 58 in Welland.
- Also on Highway 406, there will be lane closures in both directions between Merritt and Canboro roads near the Thorold-Welland border.
