What makes charcuteries unique is that it’s food usually enjoyed by multiple people at once, a social meal.
That’s a sentiment that’s agreed with by Amanda O’Brien, a new entrepreneur who recently opened Evermore Charcuterie on Erie Road in Crystal Beach.

“It’s all about coming together and hanging out,” said O’Brien, who also offers soups and sandwiches on her menu.
Located at 4086 Erie Road, O’Brien opened a couple of weeks ago but will celebrate an official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday.
O’Brien is self-taught and learned the art of preparing food for people as a host in her own home.
“I’ve always been a chef at heart,” she said, adding she’s always wanted to be her own boss, another reason she decided to open her own business.
“And I just fell in love with the simplicity of putting gourmet cheese and meats together,” she said.
She’s also “obsessed” with pairing wine and cheese, she said, adding that her business is fully licensed as well.
O’Brien also offers “grazing tables,” a large display of charcuterie laid out on a table that she supplies.
Dine-in and takeout are both offered.
Orders can also be placed by visiting evermorecharcuterie.com or by calling (289) 968-7747.
