Old Fort Erie is gearing up for a spooky and sustainable October.
Visitors are invited on October 26 to participate in Niagara Parks’ community tree planting day in partnership with the Niagara Parks Foundation.
This event, which runs from 10 a.m. until noon, is part of an ongoing effort to increase forest cover and promote environmental stewardship.
Old Fort Erie is also hosting its annual All Hallows’ Eve celebration.

Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday starting October 17, visitors can take candlelit tours of the historic battlefield, listen to spooky stories, and explore the haunted officers’ quarters.
The tours are 30 minutes long and suitable for all ages.
Tickets and registration for both events are available at niagaraparks.com.
