‘Lots of stuff for all ages’: Fundraiser at Garrison Road Church offering baked goods, family fun

If you have a craving for a fresh, delicious cinnamon roll, there is a garage sale and fundraiser with your name on it this weekend.

Jeff Stearns, pastor at Garrison Road Church, said the indoor garage sale will be happening tomorrow rain or shine.

“We have a bake sale with freshly baked cinnamon buns and cinnamon rolls,” said Stearns. “We’re also going to have face painting, a silent auction, and some games for kids.”

He said all the money raised will go towards “supporting both local and global missions organizations.”

Just some of the many items available for purchase will include jewellery, cutlery, small appliances, luggage, and home décor.

The funds, Stearns said, would also help out the Fort Erie Young Adults, a group for Christians ages 20 to 29. The group is not affiliated with one particular church or denomination.

“There will be be lots of stuff for all ages,” said Stearns.

The garage sale will run from 8 a.m. until 1 pm. on June 15 at Garrison Road Church, located at 1351 Garrison Road.
