Jarvis Street will be closed for several hours this weekend as Bridgeburg’s annual Truck or Treat returns to Fort Erie’s north end.
According to Michelle Jatagandzidis, executive assistant to the Town of Fort Erie’s director of infrastructure services, Jarvis Street will be closed between Central Avenue and Niagara Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Emergency access will be maintained during the closure.
Truck or Treat begins at noon in the Historic Bridgeburg District and is free to attend.

The event has become a popular fall tradition in Bridgeburg. Fort Erie Radio reported more than 800 costumed children attended last year’s event.
Drivers travelling through the north end Saturday should plan to use alternate routes while the closure is in place.
