Fort Erie SPCA seeks forever homes for Groot and Tigger

The Fort Erie SPCA is looking for loving homes for several special animals including, Groot, a handsome Husky-Shepherd mix, and Tigger, a cuddly house cat.

Groot is a friendly one-year-old pup who gets along great with other dogs, but he has a medical condition called exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. He’ll need to take medication twice a day for the rest of his life. If his condition is managed properly, Groot is expected to live a long and happy life.

Tigger may be a bit shy at first, but this two-and-a-half-year-old feline is wonderful with humans. He’d prefer a home without other cats; a loving human companion is all he needs.

If you’re looking for a loyal canine or cat companion, visit the Fort Erie SPCA (410 Jarvis St.) and meet Groot, Tigger, and more.

Adopting a pet means giving an animal the forever home they deserve, and all adoption fees at the Fort Erie SPCA include spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and even six weeks of pet insurance.

The SPCA, a charitable organization dedicated to animal welfare, relies on the generosity of the community to care for abandoned and lost pets. They don’t receive government funding, so every donation makes a big difference.
