Fort Erie seeks resident input on new tourism strategy

Residents are being asked how they want tourism to develop in the community as the Town of Fort Erie works on a new tourism strategy.
A survey is now open seeking feedback on what residents value, what they want protected and what they would like to see as the local visitor economy grows.
The online survey takes about 15 minutes to complete.
The town says responses will be used to help shape its tourism strategy, which is intended to guide the future of tourism in Fort Erie.
Developing a tourism strategy is also one of the objectives included in the town’s 2023-26 Corporate Strategic Plan under economic prosperity and diversification.
Residents completing the survey can indicate whether they are interested in taking part in future in-person group discussions about tourism.
Participants can also enter a draw for a $200 gift certificate to a Fort Erie business or service of their choice.
The survey is available through the Town of Fort Erie’s social media channels.
