This year’s event held on Friday, March 8, will put the spotlight on inspiring local women entrepreneurs. Audiences can expect to be motivated by their stories of pursuing ideas, overcoming hardships, and thriving in South Niagara, while gaining the opportunity to network with fellow attendees and exhibitors.

The Niagara Falls Small Business Enterprise Centre will lead a discussion featuring these distinguished panelists:

  • Andrea Sacco: Owner of YET (You Empower Tomorrow) Niagara, a champion for empowerment education, health promotion, and passion development.
  • Tamara Lockwood-Ortiz: Co-founder of Infinite Harvest Technology, a company tackling food waste with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions using black soldier fly larvae.
  • Sharon Corcoran: Owner of Corks and Bubbles, offering luxurious soaps while fostering women’s empowerment and community through events like vision board workshops and galas.

The event kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with registration, followed by a chance to explore exhibitor booths. A three-course lunch will be served at noon, setting the stage for the panel discussion starting at 1:15 p.m. The day is expected to wrap up at 2:30pm.

Tickets include the panel discussion, lunch, a mimosa, and the chance to win exciting door prizes. Contact GFECC at (905) 871-3803 for more information and to purchase tickets.
