For those seeking some extra love and affection from a furry friend, the Fort Erie SPCA (410 Jarvis St.) has plenty of pets available for adoption.
Some of those pets available include Cashmere, Lizzie, and Maximus.
Cashmere, who is two years old, is a “very sweet cat” who also gets along well with other felines. He does not like being in a cage but is purr-fectly friendly otherwise.

Lizzie, a 5-year-old walker coonhound mix, is friendly, loves people, and is great with other dogs.

Maximus is an 8-week-old kitten who is good with other cats.

Cashmere, Lizzie, Maximus are just a few of the wonderful animals waiting for forever homes at the Fort Erie SPCA.
Adopting from the SPCA isn’t just about giving a deserving pet a second chance. Adoption fees also cover spaying or neutering, vaccinations, plus six weeks of free pet insurance and a month of complimentary Royal Canin food.
The SPCA relies on the community’s generosity. Since they don’t get government funding, donations directly help abandoned and lost pets in need.
