Police investigating boat and trailer stolen from Crystal Beach home

Niagara Regional Police (NRP) are investigating the theft of a trailer and boat from a home in Crystal Beach.

On August 22, police responded to the area of Erie Road and Lakewood Avenue after the stolen items were reported.

An investigation determined that between 12 a.m. on August 20 and 1 p.m. on August 22, a custom coloured black and purple 2022 Malibu LSV boat, along with a black triple-axle trailer equipped with matching black aluminum rims, was stolen, says a news release from NRP on Monday.

The boat has a hull number ON8178394, and the trailer is registered in Ontario with license plate W9743T.

Detectives are appealing to members of the community to review any available dashcam, cellphone, or surveillance footage recorded between the noted dates and times in the area of Erie Road and Lakewood Avenue.

“Detectives are seeking video that may have captured the theft or individuals associated with the incident,” says the release.
