Lots of construction planned on highways in Niagara this week

The Queen Elizbeth Way in Niagara will have several pockets of construction this week.
At Mountain Road in Niagara Falls, Tuesday and Wednesday, one Toronto-bound lane will be closed due to recurring construction, says Ontario 511, the province’s traffic information website.
There will also be a right lane closed headed to Toronto between Martindale Road and Third Louth Street Tuesday and Wednesday.
Work is also taking place at the Garden City Skyway and Niagara Street, Toronto bound, also Tuesday and Wednesday, according to Ontario 511.
Early this week, one Fort Erie-bound lane will be closed at Sandplant Hill and Mountain Road.
For 10 days starting Monday, there is work taking place at Fifteen Mile Creek Road and Highway 406 headed toward Fort Erie.
In both directions, there will be lane closures early in the week at Dieppe Road and Glendale Avenue.
Between Gilmore and Baker roads along the QEW, there will be lane closures both ways.
There is also work taking place on Highway 406, northbound at the QEW, as well as northbound at Westchester Avenue and Chestnut Street early in the week.
At Highway 58 southbound between Pine Street and Thorold Tunnel, every lane is closed between April 13 and 17.
And at Highway 58 southbound from the Thorold Tunnel, all lanes are scheduled to be closed from April 22 to April 25.
