Cambridge evens series with Meteors at 2-2; game five Thursday

A 2-0 lead taken by the Fort Erie Meteors in the first round of playoffs has been wiped away after another win by the Cambridge Redhawks on Tuesday night.

The best-of-seven series is now tied 2-2 heading into game five on Thursday at the Leisureplex.

Cambridge won game four with a score of 4-0 and netted all their goals in the second period when the Meteors visited on Tuesday.

Shots on goal were an even 30-30.

Fort Erie went 0/8 on the powerplay and Cambridge was 3/6.

Puck drop on Thursday is 7 p.m. and game six will be played Saturday in Cambridge.
