Upcoming trivia night fundraiser to benefit Lions dog guide foundation

The community is invited to test their knowledge for a good cause.
On March 29, a trivia night will be held at the Fort Erie Lions Seniors Centre at 265 High Street, a fundraiser for the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, a longstanding beneficiary of the service club’s branches across the country.
Tickets are $25 per person and tables of six to eight people can be reserved.
The event will be hosted by quizmaster and former town councillor Stephen Passero.
He said the night isn’t just for seniors and that it’s meant to bring out people from all demographics.
“I try to cater the questions to appeal to a broad range of ages and interests,” said Passero, also noting that categories aren’t part of the format.
There will be a total of 100 random questions asked, with one most certainly related to The Muppets.
“Nobody will feel left out,” said Passero, who also hosts a Tuesday evening show on Fort Erie Radio.
“There’s definitely a question in there for everybody,” he added.
Tickets are selling fast but what remain can be purchased at forterielions.com. Tickets can only be purchased online.
Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and trivia starts at 6 p.m.
